I have been studying, experimenting, practicing and improving my eating style, activity and rest habits since the early 1990s.
I have lost weight, gained weight, maintained weight, had high energy, had low energy, overslept, underslept and had the right amount of sleep. I have studied fads, observed so-called miracle cures, quick fixes, gizmos, gadgets and you name it, I have also observed many, many, many other people’s experiences and styles during the last 28+ years of closely paying attention to the world of energy, health, and fitness. I have seen a lot. What works, what doesn’t work, why it works, why it doesn’t work.
With all of this practice and observation, I have come to the conclusion that it is too complicated for us to even try to out-think our extremely complicated body with all of its many systems designed to operate without our interference.
Our only responsibility is to give our body the basic needs it needs to operate effectively and efficiently on its own. The term “stick to the basics “ will definitely be used with this system.
