The Daily Routine of a Business Athlete
Pre workout Nutrition smoothie greens and fruit (apx 16 oz.)
Prepare my daily meals for the day Fruit, greens, herbs, nuts and seeds
All day long lots of water for hydration and to aid digestion I aim for 3/4 to 1 gallon a day
20 to 30 minute fun workout, P90X3 or any full body aerobic exercise with strength training and body core training
Post workout Nutrition smoothie greens and fruit (apx 16 oz.)
Shower, get dressed for the business day
Prepare for the day, mental preparation, state of mind management
Off to work, listen to motivational CD’s in my car as much as possible
Spread positive energy with my customers, show enthusiasm and passion
During difficult times focus on my yearly goal as the reason to continue no matter what
Celebrate all of the successes of the day, if nobody else recognizes my performance, it’s ok to pat myself on the back
Graze on the food I brought with me all day long. This helps me avoid bad food choices throughout the day.
Continue preforming at a high level all day long
Evening meal of a large salad trying to minimize the amount of fat added
If you’re going to eat meat, macaroni or other slow to digest foods try to eat them as early as possible to minimize interruption of sleep
(Food struggling to digest interferes with a good nights sleep)
Look back at what a good day you had, thank your managers for giving you the opportunity to reach your goals
Evening walk or light workout to help speed up blood flow and aid digestion
Find time to spend time with loved ones and to be grateful.
